Congratulations to Mrs. Pope's 3rd-grade class for earning our BES PE T.C.C. Class of the Week for 1-8/1-12-2024. These students utilized outstanding social skills in their PE class this week. By using great "teamwork, communication, and cooperation" skills, they enjoyed a fun and active PE class.

Yesterday, our 3rd grade students turned into surgeons! 🏥
They completed a "text feature surgery" where they cut out various text features from magazines and glued them onto body cutouts! They have been learning about text features all week and it culminated in this exciting project! Kudos 3rd grade ELA teachers!
The Marshall County School District will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 15, 2024. With extremely cold temperatures moving into the area, students will be allowed to dress warmly in jeans and layers during the week of January 16-19, 2024. We are also aware of the possibility of inclement weather, and we will be monitoring the situation carefully. We will make decisions regarding school closures and make any announcements by 5 a.m. each morning.
