year. This is a requirement for the registration process.
BES will host registration help days in the gym beginning next week on July 18th. Please see the flyer for more details. Good Morning! This is just a reminder that BES Awards Day is tomorrow! Our 1st-2nd grader program will begin at 9am and our 3rd-4th grade program will begin at 12:30pm. Kindergarten's program will be on May 22 at 9am. We are excited to see you there!

We Had a blast at our AR ice cream and karaoke party! These students have worked hard, read tons of books, and met (or exceeded) their AR goals! So proud! Way to go!
BES will be holding a registration night for incoming Kindergarteners from 4-6:00pm in the BES gym tonight, May 9, 2023. This is only for incoming Kindergarten students. We look forward to seeing you!
Congratulations to Ms. Jones’s 4th Grade Class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 5-1/5-5. Her students used outstanding social skills in their PE class this week. “Teamwork, Communication, and Cooperation” skills were happening with her students as they enjoyed our activity.
Keep up the good work that you are doing in using positive social skills.

At approximately 2:00 on the afternoon of April 27, 2023, two former Byhalia students made entry into Byhalia High School. Both were confronted by the School Resource Officer and escorted out of the building without incident. Neither person had a weapon of any type. Due to this incident, the district is evaluating its security procedures and will make necessary changes to ensure the safety of students and staff.
We'd like to extend a MAJOR shout out to Drew from Amazon for providing snacks and water for our fun run this Saturday. We are always humbled by the generosity of our community and their willingness to support our students in all ways!
