The Fun Run is on for today!
Run times are as follows:
❤️Kinder will run at 1pm
💙1st graders will run at 1:30pm
❤️2nd graders will run at 2pm
💙3rd graders will run at 2:30pm
❤️4th graders will run at 3pm
Please arrive around 30 minutes before your child's scheduled run time. Dress prepared for rain! ☔️

We will make a decision about postponing the Fun Run, due to weather, by 9am tomorrow morning. As of now, we are still on for 1pm tomorrow. We are super excited and hope the weather cooperates. Let’s cross our fingers for good weather!

Tomorrow is the big day for BES third graders! They will take their reading comprehension test tomorrow and their writing test on Wednesday. Please wish our 3rd graders good luck! Be sure they get plenty of rest, arrive on time with proper materials, and eat breakfast either at home or at school. They are going to ROCK THIS TEST! #YouGotThis #LetsGrowBES
Third grade students have been working on point of view. As a culminating activity they had to read a text, determine the topic, the author's viewpoint, and provide details in their very own graphic organizer. 🎉#LetsGrowBES #MoveMarshall

We are excited to share that our Kindergarten Cookout is coming up very soon! This will be a fun and memorable time for our Kindergarten students.
The cost for each student is $25, which will cover their T-shirt, food, and all activities planned for the day. Please send in the order form and payment of $25 by this Wednesday, April 8th.

We are inviting parents and families of 3rd and 4th graders to design a fun, positive poster that encourages students to do their very best.

🎨 Be creative! Use bright colors, drawings, photos, and uplifting messages that will make our students smile and feel confident.

Your posters will be displayed in the Blair Building to encourage and support all 3rd and 4th grade students during testing season.

Ms. Williamson’s Kindergarten class participated in a fun and engaging activity today by adopting a “PEEPS pet.” Students practiced responsibility by caring for their pet, gave it a name, and completed a writing activity about it. 💙🐰
The BES 3rd grade team will host a MAAP Test Talk this afternoon (April 1st) at 4:30pm in the BES cafeteria. This meeting is for parents that want to learn more about the upcoming state assessments third graders will participate in. We will also host an Q&A session.
