Registration for the 26-27 school year is open for new and returning BES students. We are open daily from 8-2pm for registration, closed for lunch from 12-1pm. We will have two registration events from 10am-6pm on June 2nd and June 11th at BHS. You need to complete online registration and bring updated proofs of residency to school. You can also email proofs to BES at besfax@mcschools.us. It is best to register early so you can enjoy your summer! #LetsGrowBES #MoveMarshall

Here are a few important announcements for BES families:
1. Early Dismissal: This Friday, May 22, is a 60% day. We will begin car rider and bus dismissal at 11:30am. We will conclude dismissal by 12:10pm. May 22nd is the last day of school.
2. Our 1st-4th grade Awards Day Program is tomorrow, May 20, at 10am. We sent individualized invitations home with each student that will be receiving an award tomorrow.
3. We will send out a notification when Report Cards are ready for pickup.
4. If you have not already, please go ahead and register your child(ren) for the upcoming school year. Registration is open.

We have three grade levels participating in state tests this week.
3rd grade will take their Math state test Tuesday. 4th grade will take their Math state test Wednesday. Kindergarten will take their end of the year reading test Thursday. Please be sure students get plenty of rest and wish them good luck. #LetsGrowBES

Our 1st-4th Grade Awards Program is on May 20th at 10am! This is one program for 1st-4th graders. Students receiving awards will receive an individualized invitation in the coming weeks as we finalize awards. Reminder: Kindergarten's program is on May 14th at 9am.

Tomorrow is the big day for BES third graders! They will take their reading comprehension test tomorrow and their writing test on Wednesday. Please wish our 3rd graders good luck! Be sure they get plenty of rest, arrive on time with proper materials, and eat breakfast either at home or at school. They are going to ROCK THIS TEST! #YouGotThis #LetsGrowBES

Third grade students have been working on point of view. As a culminating activity they had to read a text, determine the topic, the author's viewpoint, and provide details in their very own graphic organizer. 🎉#LetsGrowBES #MoveMarshall

We are excited to share that our Kindergarten Cookout is coming up very soon! This will be a fun and memorable time for our Kindergarten students. The cost for each student is $25, which will cover their T-shirt, food, and all activities planned for the day. Please send in the order form and payment of $25 by this Wednesday, April 8th.
