Congratulations to Ms. Pope’s 3rd Grade Class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 3-18/3-22. These students used excellent social skills while emphasizing "teamwork, communication, and cooperation" with others. Thank you for being good role models for our other BES students. 🙂

Join BES on Tuesday, March 26th from 4:30-6:30pm for parent-teacher conferences to discuss your child's progress. We will have Mathnasium in the cafeteria to share math strategies as well. We hope to see you come out!

Shout out to Mrs. Brooklyn Arkoh for being our Teacher of the Month for the month of February. Ms. Arkoh goes above and beyond to ensure our students are receiving high-quality interventions. Congratulations!

The deadline to order yearbooks has been moved up one day to March 28th due to BES being closed for Good Friday. We are also closed Monday, April 1st. Happy Easter!

This year's 3rd annual BES Fun Run will be on Saturday, April 20 from 1:00 - 5:30 p.m. and will be located at the Byhalia Walking Trail Park! Permission/consent forms have been sent home and the first 200 students to return their slips will receive a free T-shirt commemorating the event! The forms are due back this Friday, March 22. If you turn your form in late, you aren't guaranteed a shirt but can participate in the run! It is surely to be a fun event! Hope to see you there! La tercera carrera anual BES Fun Run de este año será el sábado 20 de abril de 1:00 a 5:30 p.m. ¡Y estará ubicado en Byhalia Walking Trail Park! ¡Se han enviado a casa los formularios de permiso/consentimiento y los primeros 200 estudiantes que devuelvan sus formularios recibirán una camiseta gratis que conmemora el evento! Los formularios deben entregarse este viernes 22 de marzo. Spring is in the air at BES! 💐 Students created spin wheels during Art/Character Ed. this week. 💙 #TEAMBES #MoveMarshall

Congratulations to Mrs. Bogard’s kindergarten class for earning our BES T.C.C. PE Class of the Week for 2-26/3-1. These students displayed very good social skills in their PE class this week. By using good “teamwork, communication skills, and cooperation skills”, these students were able to have a very productive PE class. Keep practicing the use of wonderful social skills 😊

2nd-4th grade students have benchmark assessments in Writing, Math, and ELA beginning on Monday of next week. Their attendance is very important. Please ensure they get plenty of rest and send them to school with words of encouragement. This is the final "practice test" before 3rd-4th graders take state tests in April.
